Why do surveyors' quotes differ?
The difference may lie in the scope of work, the distance and what is included in the quote. So look at what you get for the stated amount, not just the figure at the bottom of the quote.
Is an advance payment required?
That depends on the agreement. If one is paid, it is a good idea to confirm the amount of the advance, the deadline and exactly what the job includes beforehand.
